The New York Red Bulls battled it out with the Montreal Impact as they were able to walk away with a close 1-0 win. The full three points for New York helped them clinch a spot in the playoffs for this season. They are only the fourth team to clinch a spot so far this year and the third in the Eastern Conference.
Montreal had plenty of chances to find a goal in this one as they had five shots with three of them on target. At the end of the night, Daniel Royer’s goal in the second half was the difference maker.
