MLS roster rules make player management that much harder, and on February 4th the Red Bulls announced they waived MF Muhamed Keita. In 2017, the 27 year-old was brought into the team from Lech Poznan in Poland.
Keita played in just 7 matches for the Red Bulls, and was never able to live up to expectations. Keita was brought in with high hopes and plenty of praise from those who saw him play during his time in Poland and Norway. Its unfortunate to hear of Keita’s departure because Red Bull fans never got to witness the full scope of his ability.
