Orlando City hosted New York City FC on Thursday night as they desperately hoped to turn-a-round a season that was spiralling out of control. Predictably, they couldn’t.
The 2-0 defeat was not all that deserved, with NYCFC far from their fluent, flowing best, especially in attack, but it was enough to send Orlando home among a growing chorus of boos as fans wait for something, anything, to cheer in what is quickly becoming a miserable campaign.
