The Seattle Sounders put up 3 unanswered goals at home against FC Dallas on Sunday, giving them a huge advantage going into the second leg in Frisco. But what caused this beating of FC Dallas?
It was the mind of Brian Schmetzer.
Schmetzer re-arranged the Sounders line-up ahead of kick-off, starting Valdez over Flaco Fernandez. It wasn’t a like for like swap, though. Schmetzer put Valdez as point striker, moving Morris out to the left wing and pushing Friberg in the middle and Lodeiro on the right wing.
So we *wanted* to see Roldan in the Starting XI twice, but apparently it's against the rules.
