‘Pathetic’, that was the word that Brad Friedel used to describe the New England Revolution. In fact, he used it six times in his half-time interlude with the Revs broadcast team of the 4-1 thumping at the hands of Real Salt Lake. It was an indictment of a roster that has struggled the second half of the year.
The team produced a pedestrian effort that illustrated why they are near the bottom of the table. It would be impossible to name three stars, so, I am going to take a different approach. I’m going to select who struggled the most on Thursday night.
