With two home games in a week against a pair of strong opponents, the New England Revolution did not disappoint, taking four of a possible six points. After a hard-fought draw on Wednesday, New England knocked-off rival New York Red Bulls on Saturday to the tune of a 2-1 scoreline.

With the victory, New England kept pace with the Eastern Conference frontrunners, pulling into fifth place and even on points with the Red Bulls. With three games remaining before the international break – two of which are MLS road games – New England is poised to be in a prime position at the midpoint of the season.
