The Montreal Impact missed out on the MLS Cup playoffs for the third season running, and they have now only reached the postseason in three of their eight seasons since being brought into MLS for the start of the 2012 season.
It could have been better for the Impact, who were only able to win one of their final five league matches, with that poor run of form also seeing the side lose to the MLS’ basement team, FC Cincinnati, along with defeats to D.C. United and the LA Galaxy.
