MLS Targeted For Nashville Business Leaders

MLS has been expanding rapidly in recent years with clubs such as Los Angeles FC and Atlanta United FC set to join the 20-team league in coming years. Minnesota United FC is also getting a place in the burgeoning league and Nashville wants to join the party.

A group calling themselves the Nashville MLS Organizing Committee has 22 members featuring some of the most successful businessmen in the city have joined forces to try and lure MLS to the city. The leader of the groups is Bill Hagerty, the former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
