A week ago, the ESPN FC put out the results of an anonymous survey done, collecting answers from 140 current MLS players from 21 different clubs (New York City FC did not participate). This survey showed us who the dirtiest player in the league is, who the most overrated player is, and who the most underrated player is.
Dax McCarty was voted as the most underrated player in the MLS, picking nine percent of the votes collected. Now playing for the Chicago Fire, Dax McCarthy was a constant midfield force for his former side, the New York Red Bulls.
