Last week in MLS action was a total surprise when it came to our staff predictions. Most of our writers, with the exception of Nathan Reynolds, Antonio Rubio, Chris Ashley, and David Hughes, predicted a New England win, which is what happen. No one got any of the other games right, though, as the Red Bulls tied Real Salt Lake and Portland suffered their first loss of the year to Columbus.
Because of how no one predicted any of the results outside of Minnesota’s loss to New England, there wasn’t much movement in the standings. The top three spots still belong to Eric Harris, Rohit Menon, and Jaymes Grider.
