The USL (United Soccer League) wants all their teams in soccer-specific stadiums. That includes FC Cincinnati. But one day Cincinnati wants their team part of the MLS.
So much the better if MLS expansion could grab FC Cincinnati now, rather than later. So that’s why a team official said they drive toward the stadium deal now, rather than later, as reported by Soccer America.
Team President and General Manager Jeff Berding presented the stadium plan to the Oakley Community Council recently. He then told a local radio station the financing plan would be ready within another week, as part of a larger development project.
