The Major League Soccer season is wonderfully relentless. And this week, it continues with a wonderful midweek slate of matches that could go a long way to deciding just how the very best teams in the league go in the final months of the season.

A stuttering Atlanta United face the equally inconsistent Houston Dynamo, Toronto and the Red Bulls face off with just five points separating themselves, while the likes of D.C., Portland and New England all look to make their cases as playoff teams and potential MLS Cup contenders.
