The 2019 Major League Soccer season is seven weeks old. And so far, almost all of the talk surrounding the best players in the league has centred on Carlos Vela. The Mexican has a staggering eight goals and five assists already and is the clear leader for the MVP award.
However, he is not the only star to make an excellent start to the season. There are plenty of others that have put in some tremendous performances, only the discussion seems to have missed them.
