The Major League Soccer season begins this weekend. As February turns to March, that will also signify the end of the offseason. The winter months are a time for change, evolution, hope. Suddenly, for some unfortunate teams, that all comes crashing down almost as soon as the new season begins.
Nevertheless, the league grows and moulds greatly during the winter months. The changing personnel, the new coaches, the SuperDraft, the unveiling of new philosophies and approaches from different clubs. This all takes place during the offseason, and the 2019 offseason was as active as any.
