It was a tough loss for Minnesota United to swallow last weekend. After a resurgence in form saw them re-assert themselves as one of the key players in the playoff race during the latter stages of the season, Alphonso Davies and the Vancouver Whitecaps carved through a lapse defense and waltzed to the three points.
Minnesota’s playoff hopes are not dashed just yet, but they do need to ensure that last weekend’s loss does not become a sign of things to come, starting on Saturday when they welcome the Seattle Sounders to TCF Bank Stadium.
