Minnesota United are on fire. No losses in their last 11 matches, including a win over Portland to advance to the Open Cup final, they have flown up the Western Standings, all the way into second place behind only the inexorably brilliant Los Angeles FC.
Now, they face another tough Western test, hitting the road to face FC Dallas on Saturday night. A win would be huge as they look to hold off a slew of challengers at the sharp end of the West. Moreover, with an intense Open Cup semi-final still looming in the rear-view mirror, there is a good chance of some squad rotation for the Loons in this one.
