Minnesota looks to pick up their first result as they travel to Colorado to take on the Rapids. Here are three things to keep an eye out for come game time:
1) Minnesota’s GK situation
With Swedish keeper John Alvbåge out for 1-3 weeks with a laceration on his thigh, and backup keeper Patrick McClain out as well, Minnesota had 1 healthy keeper on it’s roster, Bobby Shuttleworth. Yesterday, they signed former University of Maryland-Baltimore keeper Billy Heavner as an emergency option to back up Shuttleworth. It will be interesting to see if Heavner comes into play at all.
