It was a ding-dong tie between Minnesota United and the Colorado Rapids. The Loons would have been looking to secure three points to keep their playoff hopes alive against a very poor Rapids side that were there for the taking.
But United failed to take advantage of the plum tie and are now slipping down the table at quite a rate with just one win in their last six MLS games.
