There might not have been another club in all of MLS that was busier than Minnesota United.
Trading for an MLS Defender of the Year, adding their third Designated Player, loaning a Premier League-experienced goalkeeper, and signing one of the best defensive midfielders in league history is not bad going for any team. And that is precisely what the Loons have done this winter.
So, how will it all fit together during the 2019 season? Well, here is a projected starting XI to provide a little insight into Anthony Hudson’s potential thinking.

Minnesota’s last international addition this winter, Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone, will go right into the starting XI, which is a move that shouldn’t surprise many.
