Minnesota United will have plenty of player absences to worry about when they take on D.C. United on Wednesday. However, per the Star Tribune’s Megan Ryan, star playmaker Darwin Quintero will not be one of them.
The Colombian, who has missed the last two matches with a lower leg injury, has 10 goals and nine assists in just 19 matches for the Loons this season. He will certainly be a welcome addition to the side.
Though the Loons will be without Michael Boxall, Rasmus Schuller, Francisco Calvo, and Romario Ibarra on Wednesday, Quintero at least gives the Loons a chance at three points.
