According to a report from The Sun, the Los Angeles “Galaxy have begun asking advisors how much Rooney would cost.” The report also a that asserts that Wayne Rooney would be a replacement for Steven Gerrard who could retire after this season. The star forward’s recent stint and form at Manchester United have this move making more sense by the day.
The Galaxy will have an open designated player spot if Gerrard does retire after the 2016 season but his contract is also up after the year. The club could use that to acquire the England captain in the winter transfer window.
