Los Angeles FC Vs Chicago Fire: 3 things we learned – Defensive masterclass, really

They might not have won the game, but the Chicago Fire put in arguably their best performance of the season so far on Saturday night as they drew 0-0 with Los Angeles FC at the Banc of California Stadium.

As you’d expect out of a scoreless contest, there were few highlights, with the biggest moment of the match coming midway through the first half, a corner whipped in by LA was headed towards goal, but Nemanja Nikolic managed to clear it off the line, with another shot then coming in that was blocked by Jorge Corrales and David Ousted clearing the ball out with a final save.
