The Major League Soccer season will kick off on Sunday for Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles FC. Just three months prior these two clubs ended the 2018 season playing against each other in an all-important match. What transpired in that fixture allowed Sporting KC to clinch the Western Conference regular-season title and sent LAFC into third place.
Now, a new season is upon us and both clubs are already being chosen as favorites to finish atop the West in 2019.
