In a remarkable night of playoff action, the Seattle Sounders shocked Los Angeles FC with a 3-1 win in the Western Conference final at Banc of California Stadium. LAFC took the lead 17 minutes in thanks to an Eduard Atuesta free-kick and looked to be cruising toward the win many tipped them for.
However, the fantastic Raul Ruidiaz inspired the Sounders to a raucous comeback, bagging the equaliser just five minutes later, playing a role in Nico Lodeiro’s strike in the 26th minute and putting the game beyond doubt just after the hour mark.
