Well, this is what the MLS Playoffs are all about. Real Salt Lake — the much unfancied Real Salt Lake — rode into Banc of California Stadium and pulled off the most unlikely of upsets, squeezing past Los Angeles FC 3-2 in one of the wildest matches you will see all season long.
There was drama, controversy, a raucous atmosphere, which I will touch on later, and one of the most inventive and clever finishes that I have ever seen.
