The 2019 Los Angeles FC are the best MLS team that I have ever seen. In fact, they are the best MLS team that most people have ever seen, in large part because they are, quite simply, the best team in MLS history. But as is well-known, that means little when the playoffs roll around.
So while LAFC are well on their way to steamrolling the Supporters’ Shield, the MLS Cup is not as straightforward an operation. But who are the teams who could stand in the way of the Black and Gold and their first-ever trophy?
