On Monday, ESPN FC reported a few interesting rumors regarding LAFC and their preparations for entering the league in the 2018 season.
According to a source with knowledge of the club’s plans, Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney is one of those being considered by LAFC, with Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas, Real Madrid’s Luka Modric and Mexico international Javier Hernandez also regarded as players of interest.
While being as vague as possible regarding the name their source, these are some huge name drops to bring up with Los Angeles. If the expansion team can get a hold of any of these players, it would be a huge boost for them, especially since most of the players listed are still in their prime.
