LA Galaxy Vs Philadelphia Union: 3 things we learned – MLS Playoff hopes continue to grow

Conceding the first goal of the match did not phase the LA Galaxy when they travelled to face the Philadelphia Union as they went on to win 3-1 in a complete team effort.

The victory gives the Galaxy their third consecutive victory in Major League Soccer play and helps solidify their spot in the top six in the Western Conference.

CJ Sapong opened the scoring in the 29th minute for the Union. The striker put home a cross from Borek Dockal to put the hosts in the lead. Ola Kamara then drew the visiting Galaxy level shortly after halftime in the 48th minute with Zlatan Ibrahimovic recording the assist.
