The LA Galaxy host D.C. United in the final game of Sunday's 10-game slate in Major League Soccer at the StubHub Center at 10 p.m. ET.
The new-look Galaxy will be looking to get off to a good start in league play after crashing out of the CONCACAF Champions League at the hands of Santos Laguna on Tuesday. LA presumably has an advantage over D.C. with the likes of Ashley Cole, Nigel de Jong and Robbie Keane in the lineup, but opening day across MLS has been far from predictable.
D.C. also enters the match following a defeat on the continental level.
