Alessandrini has spent his entire career playing in France, two and half of which were spent with Marseille in Ligue 1. During his time with the club he scored 11 goals and produced nine assists.
His playing time has not been heavy this season, as he has only made a total of eight appearances in all competitions, opening up the door for the Galaxy to swoop in.
The transfer fee is being reported at $1.75 million for the midfielder. His annually salary will be $2 million per season. Alessandrini will join Giovani dos Santos as the club’s designated players.
