Trinidadian international Kevin Molino has been traded from Orlando City SC to Minnesota United for $650k worth of allocation money, which is split between GAM and TAM. Minnesota United will also receive backup goalkeeper Patrick McLain in the deal, which is one of the largest in MLS history.
The move will also reunite Molino with former Orlando City manager Adrian Heath. Molino played under Heath for 4 and a half seasons going back to Orlando City’s USL days, before Heath was sacked by the club last July.
Molino will not be a DP, and adds another strong attacking player to the Loons roster.
