One of the hottest goalkeeping prospects for the past few years has been DC United‘s goaltender Bill Hamid. The 26-year-old has been one of the best goalkeepers in the MLS but his injuries have held him back from breaking through with the United States Men’s National Team.
The past three years, in fact have seen him not be called in to the national team’s January camp because of injury. In 2015, Hamid picked up a shoulder injury. In 2016 Hamid had a knee injury that, after being evaluated by the nation team’s medical staff, was sent home.
