After all of the games this season, it’s unfair to say that the Chicago Red Stars deserve their place in the league. But after recent performances, it’s hard to point out too many moments where the team has shown their true strength. Even in this win against the Houston Dash, there was only a couple of moments that the Red Stars looked like the Red Stars that were dominating back in May.
The Red Stars’ goal came early, in the seventh minute, when Allysha Chapman could not control the ball and Vanessa DiBernardo laid it off to Katie Johnson, who slotted it right into the bottom far corner.
