Major League Soccer has announced their Al-Star Fan XI for this seasons’ all-star game that will take place on July 28th in San Jose, California. The MLS All-Stars will face English Premier League club, Arsenal, for their match. 10 of the 11 players on the team were voted in by fans.
The 11th and final player was determined “through the AT&T/EA SPORTS “More Than a Vote” Challenge.” David Villa of NYCFC was the player who earned this honor “as fans scored more than 800,000 goals with the NYCFC star in EA SPORTS FIFA.” This was a great way for fans to be involved in more ways than one to choose the All-Star team this year.
