FC Dallas Vs Colorado Rapids: 3 things we learned – Youth shines again

There was no doubt FC Dallas were the favorites to win against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday. After losing 1-0 to the Columbus in their last fixture, they were hungry to get back in the win column.

It was a fast start from the hosts but they failed to convert a few early chances. The first goal would not come until the 35th minute when Michael Barrios scored for Dallas. Colorado would get an equalizer on a set piece goal from Tommy Smith in the 69th minute. The match-winner would come from left-back Ryan Hollingshead in the 82nd minute to give Dallas all three points at home.
