Maybe most surprising has been the goal scoring production of Canadian and Houston Dash forward Janine Beckie. The eighth overall pick of the 2016 College Draft, Beckie has lit up the nets three times already. Add the former Texas tech standout’s three goals to those of teammate and USWNT star Carli Lloyd and the Houston Dash have the top two scorers at the Rio Olympics. In addition to Beckie and Lloyd, the NWSL boasts four other goal scorers at the games including teammates Monica of Brazil and Alex Morgan (both with the Orlando Pride) and Beckie’s teammate Christine Sinclair each of whom have two.
