The Columbus Crew’s season of misery appears to be going from bad to worse. On Saturday, against the Seattle Sounders, they watched a 1-0 lead vanish in the second half and Nicolas Lodeiro’s stoppage game-winning goal rubbed salt into the wounds of another match where points were dropped.
For the Sounders, it was a game of opportunity and they were the more clinical side as the result keeps them in a top position in the Western Conference standings.
