Columbus Crew were able to break their run of bad form on Sunday, beating Minnesota United 3-2. The Decision Day match was a weird one for Columbus. They started the game off well with a pair of Gyasi Zardes goals but conceded two goals inside of ten minutes in the second half to bring the game back level. A late goal to complete the hat-trick from Zardes gave the Crew the win and the momentum heading into the playoffs.
Those very playoffs now see the Crew travel to take on D.C. United, perhaps the hottest team in all of MLS.
