A win and a F.C. Dallas loss was all the Rapids needed to clinch the Supporter Shields on Sunday afternoon, and the last place Dynamo were all that stood in their way. Unfortunately, it was not to be, as neither scenario went their way, in the end the away side held the Rapids to a 1-1 draw at Dicks Sporting Goods Park.
How it Happened
The Dynamo were the first to scores as Andrew Wenger slotted home a rebound in the 20th minute. A quick shot from Mauro Manotas was pushed away by Tim Howard and the Pennsylvania native was in the right place at the right time to finish.
