The extended weekend will kick off with a bang as the Chicago Fire host the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS action. This is the first of two matches that will be featured on national television on Friday night.
Chicago looks to find three points at home after a disappointing season so far. The Fire currently sit in last place in the Eastern Conference with 11 points. They are probably happy its July as the Summer transfer window will arrive shortly.
San Jose have a chance to steal points on the road and have 22 points in a tight Western Conference.
