Chicago Fire Vs New England Revolution: 5 things we learned – Katai back to best

The Chicago Fire were able to pick up a road point against a bitter rival on Saturday night, with the Men In Red getting a draw against the New England Revolution. The away side opened the scoring through Aleksandar Katai and held onto it until the end of the half.

The Revs responded well in the second half and grabbed an equalizer through Scott Caldwell. An own goal put Chicago back in the lead, but the Fire couldn’t hold on, as Cristian Penilla scored to make it 2-2. At the end of the day, a point did neither team much good, as both are effectively eliminated from playoff contention.
