Chicago Fire Midweek Training: 3 takeaways from Week 16

Another opportunity for the Chicago Fire to step up has come and gone once again this past week at home. After getting embarrassed in St. Louis, the Fire continue to spiral out of control. The team has failed to pick up a win since May 11th when they strung together two convincing results against New England and Minnesota. Now things are not as bright.

Their most recent game against Real Salt Lake was a testament to how bad soccer can get. It appeared that neither team wanted to win the game and, while there was nothing specifically bad about the way Chicago played, it was extremely ineffective and unattractive.
