The Big East Conference has responded to its conference members' fate in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
A statement released on the conference's website congratulates the three members who did qualify for the postseason tournament and declares its respect for the governing body, but also expresses it's disappointment at several of its teams missing out on March Madness.
"We have great respect for the NCAA men's basketball committee and the time and effort that goes into selecting and seeding the teams for the NCAA tournament," the statement reads. "It is a very challenging job, and we have been advised that this year's upsets added to the complexity and contributed to the committee's final bracket selections.
