Atlanta United: Five Stripes set MLS single-game attendance record

Coming off an impressive 7-0 victory on Wednesday against the New England Revolution in front of 42,500 fans, Atlanta United will set the MLS attendance record today against Orlando City. Thursday night the club announced that they had officially passed the 69,255 count, previous held by the Los Angeles Galaxy. The original stand alone record was set in the inaugural match for the Galaxy.

In just their first season, Atlanta have made great strides on and off the pitch and look to continue that into the postseason. The official count will be announced during the match, which is also setting up to be a thriller.
