As the USWNT was being eliminated by the Swedes and knowing that USA women won’t be available till September, fans of the Houston Dash should consider whether or not the team is better without midfielder Carli Lloyd. Arguably the best player in the world of women’s soccer may not really be the best player for the Houston Dash and here’s why.
Lloyd is no doubt a prolific goal scorer and early on in her Dash career she made a big splash. Then came the World Cup and she made a bigger splash and upon her return to Houston made an even bigger splash.
