Alejandro Bedoya Pokes Fun at Struggling Seattle Sounders

The USMNT midfielder took to social media to criticize Sigi Schmid’s team after watching their horribly embarrassing performance Sunday against Sporting Kansas City. The Sounders find themselves ninth in the Western Conference Standings right now, with a record of 6-12-2.

In this tweet, Bedoya indicates that he was talking with the club and may have signed with them, but he wasn’t given the same offer as Nelson Valdez. Valdez is a 32 year old midfielder from Paraguay who signed a Designated Player contract with the Sounders around this time last year (August 7, 2015).

In 2016, the MLS Players Union says that Valdez will make a guaranteed $1,455,000.
