Four-star small forward Jamarko Pickett has committed to the Georgetown Hoyas, Massanutten Military Academy head coach Chad Myers told Scout's Evan Daniels on Friday.
Pickett also considered the Maryland Terrapins after the Ole Miss Rebels released him from his letter of intent July 14, as he requested.
Pickett is a major score for a Georgetown team in transition under new head coach Patrick Ewing.
According to Scout, Pickett is the 54th-ranked player overall and 15th-ranked small forward among 2017 recruits. He also graded out as the No. 1 small forward in Virginia.
