The New York Yankees are acquiring relief pitcher Scott Effross from the Chicago Cubs, according to Jack Curry of YES Network.
The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported the Cubs will receive minor league starting pitcher Hayden Wesneski. MLB.com ranks Wesneski as the Yankees' No. 7 prospect.
