The Seattle Mariners earned their second straight win over the New York Yankees on Tuesday, but Yankees pitcher Clarke Schmidt believes it was his mistake that cost the team.
Per ESPN, Schmidt said after Tuesday's 6-3 loss that he believes he tipped his pitch to Mariners shortstop Dylan Moore when he gave up a two-run homer in the third inning.
"Obviously tipping is a part of this game and it's a factor and it's always in the back of our heads and something that we're well aware of," Schmidt said.
