Home plate umpire Dale Scott was taken to the hospital Friday night after a foul tip deflected off his mask during the Toronto Blue Jays' showdown against the Baltimore Orioles at Rogers Centre.
The Athletic Toronto's John Lott posted a photo of Scott with his head and neck immobilized after the scary scene unfolded:
